Job Overview: Synthesis Healthcare Services is hiring enthusiastic and detail-oriented Life Science and Paramedical graduates for Medical Coding positions. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to begin their careers in the healthcare industry by gaining expertise in medical coding practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments into standardized codes (ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS).
- Ensure the accuracy of medical coding and compliance with healthcare industry standards.
- Review patient medical records and charts to verify proper documentation and completeness.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in CPC, CIC, CRC, or CCS is an added advantage.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and billing processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Allied Health, or related fields.
- Fresh graduates (0 years experience) are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with hospital or healthcare experience are preferred but not mandatory.
