Job Summary: The pharmaceutical liaison plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining relationships between the company and external stakeholders. They serve as a bridge between the company’s products, services, or initiatives and the needs and expectations of healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and other relevant organizations. The liaison facilitates communication, provides support, and ensures compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, regulatory agencies, and advocacy groups.
Product Education and Promotion: Provide accurate and up-to-date information about pharmaceutical products, treatments, and services to healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines related to the promotion and marketing of pharmaceutical products. Ensure that all interactions and communications adhere to these standards.
Support for Clinical Trials: Collaborate with clinical research teams to support the planning, execution, and communication of clinical trials. Liaise with investigators, study coordinators, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth trial operations.
Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, industry trends, and customer feedback. Provide insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders to inform strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and compliance to align strategies and ensure coordinated efforts in achieving organizational goals.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on product knowledge, compliance requirements, and effective communication strategies. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
B-Pharma (or) Bsc Chemistry M-Pharma (or) Msc Chemistry relevant certifications preferred.
