Key responsibilities include the development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting of analytical methods for a diverse range of pharmaceutical dosage forms. This extensive portfolio includes injectables, liposomal formulations, microspheres, inhalation products, topical formulations, and conventional oral dosage forms.
A robust hands-on background in chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques is essential. Expertise is required in instruments such as HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, as well as dissolution testing and particle size analysis. The role also involves the characterization of complex drug delivery systems, conducting comprehensive stability studies, and preparing meticulous regulatory documentation.
Candidates must possess a strong understanding of ICH guidelines and cGMP requirements, coupled with an awareness of the unique analytical challenges presented by sterile and non-oral dosage forms.
