The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Pune, invites highly motivated and skilled laboratory professionals for a walk-in interview for two temporary Project Technical Support-II positions. These roles are integral to our ongoing ABIHR project, “Preclinical Toxicological Evaluation and Safety Pharmacology of selected Ayurvedic Formulations – Laksha Guggulu, Dadimadi Ghrita and Ekangaveera Rasa.” This is a unique opportunity to contribute to significant research validating traditional Ayurvedic medicines.
About the Role:
As a Project Technical Support-II, you will play a crucial role in the preclinical toxicological evaluation and safety pharmacology studies of specific Ayurvedic formulations. This position requires a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and a commitment to rigorous scientific methodology, directly supporting the project’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities (Anticipated):
- Execute laboratory experiments as per established protocols for preclinical toxicology and safety pharmacology studies.
- Assist in the preparation, testing, and analysis of Ayurvedic formulations.
- Maintain meticulous records of experimental data, procedures, and observations.
- Operate and perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety standards and research guidelines.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree with a specialization in Biology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology OR a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant laboratory experience is mandatory.
Remuneration:
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 20,000/- per month, in addition to a 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Age Limit:
Candidates must be a maximum of 30 years old as on August 1st, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Government of India rules.
Contract Duration:
This is a purely temporary position on a contractual basis, initially for a period of six months. The contract is extendable for subsequent six-month terms, up to the project duration of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements. Please note, this engagement does not guarantee continuation or regular appointment.
Selection Process:
The selection procedure will comprise a written test. Candidates who successfully qualify the written test will then proceed to an interview, both of which will be conducted on the same day.
