The Opportunity: R&D Chemist (API)
We are seeking enthusiastic and talented individuals to join our Research & Development (API) team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both fresh graduates and experienced professionals to contribute to the discovery, development, and optimization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. You will be instrumental in laboratory-based research, process development, and analytical testing, working within a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities
As an R&D Chemist in our API department, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting laboratory experiments for the synthesis and development of API processes.
- Optimizing reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and overall efficiency.
- Performing in-process checks and analytical testing to monitor reaction progress accurately.
- Documenting experimental procedures, observations, and results meticulously.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols and good laboratory practices at all times.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving related to synthetic routes and chemical processes.
Who We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
- Educational Background: Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry or Master of Science (MSc) in Chemistry.
- Experience: 0 to 5 years of experience in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Research & Development. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record are highly encouraged to apply.
