Opportunity:
We are actively seeking a dedicated and meticulous Officer to join our Quality Control department at our Nalagarh Plant. This pivotal role is essential for upholding the highest quality standards across our manufacturing process, specifically focusing on raw and packaging materials. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute meticulous sampling, handling, and retention of packaging and raw materials strictly adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately apply appropriate status labels, including SAMPLED, APPROVED, and REJECTED, to materials as required.
  • Receive and thoroughly analyze samples of packaging and raw materials according to established Standard Test Procedures (STPs), meticulously recording observations in test data sheets and SAP, ensuring full compliance with cGMP and cGLP principles.
  • Maintain and diligently update all relevant logbooks pertaining to sample receiving, sampling, and testing of raw materials, packing materials, and control samples.
  • Proficiently operate a range of laboratory instruments such as collapsibility testers, lacquer porosity testers, barcode readers, balances, screw gauges, Vernier calipers, IR, KF Titrators, Polarimeters, UV spectrophotometers, and HPLC, in accordance with respective SOPs.
  • Conduct laboratory analyses with exceptional accuracy, utilizing calibrated instruments and clean glassware, while strictly adhering to all safety and quality protocols.
  • Manage and maintain critical standards for packaging materials, including shade cards, approved artworks, and product albums.
  • Ensure impeccable cleanliness of working areas and instruments, alongside the proper filing, retrieval, and secure archival of all laboratory documents in designated locations.
  • Consistently comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and company-specific quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry), B. Pharma, M. Pharma, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a Quality Control Laboratory, with a strong preference for candidates from a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
