A leading and well-reputed pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Quality Assurance function for its Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing plant. Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven QA Head to oversee all aspects of Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems (QMS) at our OSD facility in Panchkula, Haryana. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in pharmaceutical QA, particularly within OSD manufacturing, and a strong understanding of global regulatory landscapes. This pivotal role involves ensuring product quality, compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the entire Quality Assurance and Quality Management Systems (QMS) function for the OSD plant.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with national and international regulatory requirements, including GMP, WHO, and USFDA standards.
- Oversee and manage critical quality processes such as Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), deviations, change control, investigations, and all audit-related activities.
- Strategically plan, manage, and facilitate internal, customer, and regulatory audits/inspections, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Champion the continuous improvement of quality systems and compliance initiatives throughout the plant operations.
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional departments including Production, Quality Control, and Research & Development to ensure integrated quality operations.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 12 years of progressive and relevant experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrable strong experience specifically in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing is mandatory.
- Extensive hands-on exposure to implementing and managing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Management Systems (QMS), and navigating regulatory compliance and audits.
- Proven strong leadership, team-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates currently associated with reputed pharmaceutical companies or OSD plants will be given preference.
