The organization is hosting a walk-in recruitment drive for the position of Executive / Senior Executive – Purchase, with a specific focus on intermediates and solvents. There are two vacancies available for this crucial role. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate 5 to 8 years of relevant experience, with a mandatory background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or an MBA in Supply Chain Management or Material Management. This role will be based at the company’s facility in Juinagar, Navi Mumbai.
Prospective candidates should possess proven expertise in the procurement and strategic sourcing of intermediates and solvents. Core responsibilities for this role will include robust vendor management, effective supplier relationship handling, and ensuring strict procurement compliance while diligently driving cost control initiatives. Essential skills also encompass meticulous documentation, proficient procurement system management, and seamless cross-functional coordination with internal teams to optimize operational workflows.
Desired competencies for this position include strong negotiation capabilities, a solid understanding of indirect procurement categories, and sharp cost analysis combined with commercial acumen. Familiarity with ERP systems is considered a highly beneficial asset. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are paramount, alongside a keen attention to detail and strong documentation abilities to uphold industry standards and regulatory requirements.
