The Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Jr. Research Scientist to join our R&D – CPDL (Crystal & Pharmaceutical Development Laboratory) department in Hyderabad. This is an excellent opportunity for research professionals with a strong background in solid-state chemistry and pharmaceutical development to contribute to new product innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Jr. Research Scientist, you will be instrumental in:
- Conducting polymorph screening studies for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and evaluating various solid-state forms.
- Developing and optimizing crystallization processes for pharmaceutical compounds.
- Performing comprehensive solid-state characterization using advanced analytical techniques including PXRD, DSC, TGA, Microscopy, FTIR, and Raman Spectroscopy.
- Operating PXRD instrumentation independently, covering sample preparation, data acquisition, and interpretation.
- Analyzing and interpreting solid-state characterization data to identify forms and assess stability.
- Supporting process development activities related to polymorphism, salt/co-crystal screening, and crystallization scale-up.
- Preparing precise technical documentation, reports, and experimental records in strict adherence to laboratory practices.
Qualifications:
- Education: M.Sc. (Required)
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical research and development.
