About the Role:
As a Production Chemist, you will play a crucial role in executing formulation production activities, ensuring strict adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position demands a strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and a steadfast commitment to operational efficiency within our state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute formulation production activities meticulously, following Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and GMP guidelines.
- Operate and continuously monitor various production equipment to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive batch records and all other required production documentation.
- Ensure timely line clearance, optimal material availability, and consistently uphold stringent area cleanliness standards on the shop floor.
- Collaborate effectively and coordinate seamlessly with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams for integrated operations.
- Uphold and strictly maintain hygiene, safety protocols, and overall GMP compliance throughout the entire production area.
- Promptly report any deviations, equipment breakdowns, or material shortages to senior personnel for immediate review and action.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) in Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance, OR a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Bio-Chemistry, Chemistry, or General Science.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical production or manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Proficient understanding of pharmaceutical production processes, BMR, SOPs, and GMP regulations. Strong observational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot minor operational issues effectively. Excellent record-keeping abilities and good communication skills are essential.
