Opportunity:
We are actively seeking skilled and dedicated Manufacturing Professionals for our Upstream and Downstream processes within our Biosimilars division. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in biosimilar manufacturing and a commitment to quality and innovation. We are conducting walk-in interviews in Bengaluru to identify the best talent for our Ahmedabad site.
Key Responsibilities:
Upstream Manufacturing:
- Execute and monitor upstream processes for mammalian/cell culture operations.
- Operate various cell culture techniques, including single-use bioreactors, shake flasks, and perfusion technology.
- Proficiently handle laboratory equipment such as microscopes, cell counters, osmometers, and biochemical analyzers.
- Contribute to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) preparation, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and equipment qualification/validation activities, leading into batch manufacturing.
Downstream Manufacturing:
- Manage and execute downstream processes for mammalian/cell culture.
- Apply advanced protein purification techniques, including various chromatography methods, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and virus filtration.
- Operate and troubleshoot chromatography systems (e.g., Cytiva/Sartorius).
- Perform column packing/unpacking and qualification procedures.
- Assist in new equipment introduction and suite qualification.
- Prepare Quality Risk Management (QRM) documents, manage change controls, draft SOPs, and coordinate with vendors and Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) for the introduction and qualification of downstream equipment.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Education: A Life Science Graduate or Postgraduate (M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology or Microbiology).
- Experience: 4 to 10 years of total experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Specific Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Biosimilars Upstream production (Mammalian Culture) or Downstream Production.
- Industry Background: Must have prior experience working with a Biosimilars company.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) processes.
- Compliance: Demonstrated exposure to regulatory audits and familiarity with QMS documentation.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and documentation.
