The Opportunity:
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Associate to join our Formulations Analytical Development team in Hyderabad. This is a pivotal role for an experienced professional looking to make a significant impact on the analytical characterization and development of diverse pharmaceutical formulations. Key Responsibilities:
As a Research Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and optimizing robust analytical methods for the comprehensive analysis of finished pharmaceutical products, encompassing Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) forms and complex injectables.
- Proficiently utilizing a range of advanced analytical techniques, including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), UV-Vis Spectrophotometry, and dissolution testing.
- Conducting thorough pre-formulation studies to assess critical physicochemical properties of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and excipients, such as solubility, stability, and compatibility.
- Collaborating closely with formulation scientists to design, evaluate, and refine formulations for solid, injectable, and liquid dosage forms, ensuring strict adherence to global regulatory requirements.
- Analyzing and interpreting complex experimental data, preparing detailed scientific reports, and effectively communicating findings through presentations to cross-functional project teams.
- Ensuring all analytical activities strictly comply with current Good Laboratory Practices (cGLP) and maintaining meticulous documentation and records.
- Proactively identifying and resolving analytical challenges that may arise during method development, validation, or routine testing phases.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding and practical application of regulatory guidelines from bodies such as ICH and FDA relevant to pharmaceutical product development.
- Operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting various analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV spectrophotometers, and dissolution apparatus with hands-on proficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: M.Pharmacy or M.Sc in a relevant scientific discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Formulations Analytical Development within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
