The Opportunity:
Kashiv Biosciences is actively seeking skilled and dedicated professionals to join our Upstream and Downstream Manufacturing teams at our state-of-the-art Biosimilars facility in Ahmedabad. If you possess a strong background in biosimilar production and are eager to contribute to a dynamic and impactful environment, we invite you to participate in our walk-in interviews in Hyderabad.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
We are looking for individuals with 4 to 10 years of total experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically in Biosimilars Upstream (Mammalian Culture) or Downstream Production. Candidates must possess knowledge of GDP & GMP processes, exposure to regulatory audits, and familiarity with QMS documentation. Excellent communication skills are also essential.
Education: Life Science Graduate / Postgraduate (M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology).
1. Upstream Manufacturing:
- Responsible for Upstream Process activities involving Mammalian/Cell culture.
- Proficiency in various Cell Culture techniques, including Single-use Bioreactors, shake flasks, and perfusion technology.
- Experience in handling laboratory equipment such as microscopes, cell counters, osmometers, and biochemical analyzers.
- Involvement in SOP preparation, QMS implementation, Qualification and Validation of equipment, and Batch manufacturing.
2. Downstream Manufacturing:
- Responsible for Downstream Process activities for Mammalian/Cell culture.
- Expertise in Protein Purification Techniques, including Chromatography, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and virus filtration.
- Proficiency in operating Chromatography systems (e.g., Cytiva/Sartorius).
- Experience in Column Packing/Unpacking & Column Qualification.
- Involvement in new equipment introduction & suite qualification.
- Experience with Quality Risk Management (QRM), change control, SOP preparation, and coordination with Vendors and CFTs for equipment introduction and qualification.
Candidate Profile:
- Must have prior experience working in a Biosimilars company.
- Strong understanding of GDP & GMP Processes.
- Demonstrated exposure to Regulatory Audits.
- Proficient in QMS Documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
