TCS is hosting an exclusive Walk-in Drive for skilled and experienced professionals in Pharmacovigilance and Medical Review. This is a prime opportunity to join our dynamic Life Sciences team and play a pivotal role in ensuring patient safety through robust drug safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

For Pharmacovigilance Professionals (2-8 years experience):

  • Manage end-to-end individual case safety report (ICSR) processing, including data entry, narrative writing, and medical coding.
  • Perform quality control checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to signal detection and ongoing risk-benefit assessment activities.
  • Collaborate with global teams for timely and compliant submission of safety reports to regulatory authorities.

For Medical Reviewers (2-6 years experience):

  • Conduct comprehensive medical review and assessment of ICSRs for seriousness, expectedness, and causality.
  • Provide expert medical input for aggregate safety reports, Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs), and other safety documents.
  • Ensure accurate medical interpretation and coding of adverse event data.
  • Communicate key safety findings and regulatory compliance requirements effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Pharmacovigilance: 2 to 8 years of proven experience in core pharmacovigilance operations.
    • Medical Reviewer: 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in medical review roles within pharmacovigilance or clinical safety.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS/MD), Dentistry (BDS/MDS), Life Sciences, or a closely related medical discipline is essential.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of global drug safety regulations (e.g., ICH, GVP), strong analytical abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
