A prominent pharmaceutical organization is conducting a walk-in interview for dynamic and skilled professionals to join its Engineering Department as an Electrical Process Operator. Opportunities are available at their Sikkim Unit I & Unit II facilities.

Candidates should hold an ITI (Electrician) or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Applicants are required to have between 1 to 6 years of relevant experience.

The role encompasses a variety of critical responsibilities, including the operation and monitoring of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS, and other utility systems. Key duties involve routine inspection and recording of electrical equipment parameters, along with performing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities. Electrical Process Operators will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical equipment to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. Maintaining GMP-compliant documentation, logbooks, and checklists is essential, as is strict compliance with SOPs, EHS guidelines, and engineering standards. The position also requires supporting calibration, validation, and qualification activities.

Required skills include a comprehensive knowledge of HT/LT electrical systems and distribution networks, practical experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings. A thorough understanding of GMP, GDP, and safety practices is crucial. Exposure to SAP/CMMS systems would be considered an added advantage. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, particularly in utility operations and regulatory compliance, who demonstrate a strong safety and continuous improvement mindset.
