Job Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associates and Associate Scientists to join our Synthesis R&D department. These critical roles will involve actively participating in complex organic synthesis projects, contributing significantly to our research objectives. You will leverage your expertise in a fast-paced, client-driven environment, driving innovation and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute multi-step organic synthesis reactions, demonstrating a strong understanding of reaction mechanisms.
  • Operate and interpret data from analytical instruments such as NMR and LC-MS to characterize compounds.
  • Perform efficient compound purification using various techniques and platforms, including preparative HPLC.
  • Maintain accurate and meticulous records in an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) for all experimental data.
  • Adhere strictly to data integrity, quality, and safety practices within the laboratory.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
  • Gain exposure to and utilize automated synthesizers and purification platforms to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry is required.
  • Experience: 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Synthesis R&D within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
  • Skills:
    • Profound knowledge of organic synthesis and various reaction methodologies.
    • Demonstrated hands-on experience with analytical techniques like NMR, LC-MS, and compound purification.
    • Familiarity with automated synthesis and purification platforms is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems (ELN).
    • Strong commitment to laboratory safety and quality standards.
