The Opportunity:
We are looking for highly skilled B.Tech Chemical Engineering professionals to join our Process Engineering Department. This role offers a unique chance to contribute to API and intermediate manufacturing processes at both pilot and plant scales, driving process development and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Process Engineer, your core duties will include:
- Monitoring pilot and commercial batch execution, ensuring strict adherence to process parameters and procedures.
- Conducting process trials (lab & cylindrical reactors) to evaluate performance and generate data for scale-up.
- Accurately recording critical process parameters: temperature, pressure, pH, addition rates, agitation, gas flow, vacuum, reaction time, solvent conditions, and reaction completion.
- Analyzing process behavior and validating critical parameters for successful plant-scale implementation.
- Evaluating scale-up/scale-down challenges and recommending solutions for seamless technology transfer.
- Providing on-floor technical support, promptly identifying and escalating any process or safety concerns during manufacturing.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in API/intermediate process engineering, process development, pilot-plant operations, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Essential Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of chemical process operations, reactors, process parameters, and optimization.
- Proficiency in scale-up, scale-down, and technology transfer principles.
- Practical knowledge of reactor trials, critical process parameter management, and batch execution.
